This particular aircraft has an interesting story behind it. It is the only D-13 in existence. The
engine does run and it is airworthy, however, it's missing an engine component that allows the
engine to throttle up past idle. There are several stories online and a book that covers this plane
('Yellow 10') from surrender in 1945 to it's total restoration and placement in Washington. It was
fully restored to the actual condition and appearance as it was when surrendered. If this is one of
